Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

When you submit our “Get in Touch” or trip-inquiry form, we collect the information you choose to give us, which includes:

• Your full name;
• Your email address;
• Your phone number;
• Your preferred or ideal travel dates; and
• The details you share about your trip plans and party size in the free-text message field.

You do not have to provide this information, but we need it to respond to your inquiry and prepare a travel proposal. If you correspond with us by email or phone, we keep a record of that correspondence as well.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

• Device and browser information — such as your browser type, operating system, language, screen and hardware characteristics, and network information. We combine certain of these signals into a hashed identifier that helps us recognize returning visitors and protect the Site against abuse;
• Log and usage data — such as your IP address, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and referring pages, collected through our hosting provider; and
• Information collected through cookies and similar technologies (described below).

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies, including services provided by Google (such as Google Analytics and Google Ads), to understand how visitors use the Site, to measure the performance of our marketing, and to deliver and measure advertising. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers. We use trusted third parties to operate our business, including Cloudflare (website hosting and infrastructure), Mailgun (delivery of inquiry notifications to our team), and Google (the Gmail service used to send your quote, as well as analytics and advertising services). These providers process information on our behalf.
• Advertising and analytics partners. As described above, we work with Google and similar providers to measure and serve advertising.
• Measuring ad-driven inquiries. When you submit an inquiry after arriving from one of our ads, we send Google a version of your email address that has been irreversibly scrambled into a code (a “hash”) before it leaves your browser. Google uses that code only to tell us that an inquiry came from one of our ads, and to measure how our advertising performs. We do not send Google your name, phone number, or the contents of your message for this purpose, and Google does not receive your email address in a readable form. You can opt out by disabling cookies or by contacting us at the address below.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Guided Safaris, our guests, or others.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Your Choices

• Cookies. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect how the Site functions.
