Originally from South Africa, Dari is an artist who lives with her daughters and husband in Florida. Her bronze works are on permanent display at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, amongst other works at the Bo-Kaap and The Foundry.
Ahead of a major exhibit of her work opening at the Grand Palais in Paris, a small and intimate group of her family and close friends — most of them neighbours — stayed on safari with us, on a Private Villa charter exclusive to their family. Here is their journal.
We saw everything we could have dreamed of.

A lioness on the road at dusk followed by her two very young cubs; a cheetah mom and her cubs the same night; a leopard couple being chased from their impala kill by a lioness… buffalo and hippo below our River Suite.
In fact, all my friends and my girls have been spoilt, as this is their first safari!
