Pristine 77,000 acres of the Duba Plains Concession for the use of just 6 rooms at camp makes this a high-end, exclusive safari in Botswana.
This intimate camp features five traditional tented suites, each elevated on raised decking and offering panoramic views of the surrounding floodplain and the constant flow of wildlife passing by. Each suite includes a cozy lounge area with space for writing or downloading photos, and the option for private dining. The private verandah leads to beautifully appointed en-suite facilities, complete with double basins, and both indoor and outdoor showers, along with luxurious bathtubs. Thoughtfully placed fans and design elements ensure a comfortable climate for rest and relaxation. Guests can also enjoy their own private plunge pool and a shaded outdoor sala, perfect for lounging.
Immerse yourself in wildlife viewing activities, whether it's embarking on a guided safari drive in an open 4x4 vehicle or exploring on foot with an experienced guide. Additionally, guests have the opportunity to observe wildlife up close from a motorized boat or by peacefully drifting along the Okavango's waterways in a mokoro.

Explore the Okavango Delta’s permanent channels by mekoro (when water levels allow). This is truly a refreshing yet peaceful experience allowing for wildlife and bird viewing from a unique perspective. The flat-bottomed, aluminium boat at Duba Plains allows guests to explore the papyrus flanked channels of the Okavango Delta. Enjoy the amazing birdlife seen, or the occasional elephant or other wildlife seen on the banks. Marvel at the clear, cool water flowing under you and marvel at the journey that this life sustaining liquid undertakes. As one of the most established wildlife regions in Botswana, many of the original nature documentaries have been filmed on location here. Plains game is popular here and game drives provide regular sightings of lion, buffalo, specialized antelope species and elephant. The large prides of lion at Duba Plains are famed for their interactions on cape buffalo hunts as immortalized in the National Geographic documentary ‘Eternal Enemies’. This area is seasonally Botswana’s absolute best wildlife destinations with several unique mammal sightings, in addition to the famous Big Five.

Guided Game Drives often start at sunrise, returning to camp for a late breakfast and departing again mid-afternoon after tea before returning just after sunset. However, guests can often spend the entire day out in the veld with a packed breakfast, lunch, and beverages if they wish. Our safaris will often continue into the night in search of nocturnal species. Night drives are incredibly prolific, and while they take patience, sightings commonly include lesser-known nocturnal mammals and even lion and hyena hunts.
